H00299                      Disease
Name
Shigellosis;
Bacillary dysentery
Description
Shigellosis (bacillary dysentery) is a foodborne enterobacterial infection caused by Shigella species. There are four subgroups of Shigella: S. dysenteriae, S. flexneri, S. boydii, and S. sonnei.
