Neurodevelopmental disorder with spastic quadriplegia and brain abnormalities with or without seizures (NEDSBAS) is caused by homozygous mutations in the WDR45B gene and is characterized by profound developmental delay, early-onset refractory epilepsy, progressive spastic quadriplegia and contractures, and brain malformations.
