Description
Familial British dementia (FBD) and familial Danish dementia (FDD) are two autosomal dominant neurodegenerative diseases caused by mutations in the BRI/ ITM2B gene. Familial dementia is characterized by widespread cerebral amyloid angiopathy, parenchymal amyloid deposition, and neurofibrillary tangles.
