Isolated from late Permian Period (250 million years old) collected from 670-m-thick Salado Formation halite, 655 m below ground level (382 m above mean sea level) and ambient temperature of 26 deg C, at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant mine (32 deg 22 min 18 sec N, 103 deg 47 min 37 sec W) near Carlsbad, New Mexico on 6 November 2019.
